What's changed recently, mostly fixes and tweaks from watching new players try the game for the first time.
Fix New / improved
August 22
Your save now backs up to iCloud automatically while you play. If you ever delete and reinstall the app, or move to a new phone, you'll be offered a "Restore" option for your farm instead of starting over from scratch.
Fixed an edge case where a save that failed to load properly could get silently overwritten with a blank farm. If this ever happens, you'll now see a clear warning instead of quietly losing progress.
Added optional notifications: your garden being ready to harvest, seed/gear shop restocks, your Daily Reward being available, and new quests, each with its own on/off switch plus a quiet hours window so nothing pings you overnight. Off by default, find it under the ☰ menu.
August 21
Claiming a quest reward now shows a clear confirmation (coins flying to your balance + a "Claimed!" toast) instead of just quietly updating your coin count in the background.
Fixed a rare case where a completed Daily or Weekly quest could become unclaimable if its refresh timer happened to pass while it was sitting there waiting to be claimed.
Each shopkeeper now has their own small hand-drawn portrait out in the field, not just a shrunk copy of their dialogue art, so Sprout, Greta, and Steena are each unmistakable at a glance.
You can now give your farmer a name when starting a new save slot. It shows up on your Statistics profile and the title screen greets you by name.
Starting a fresh farm now asks if you'd like to keep or change your farmer's name first, instead of silently resetting it.
Fixed a bug where starting your first farm from the title screen could quietly reset the farm and farmer names you'd just entered moments earlier.
August 20
Every crop now has its own leaf color while growing. A few pairs (Rubyfruit/Emberpod, Megamelon/Grandgourd, Suncup/Moonpetal) used to look completely identical until harvest, despite being different rarities.
The very first sprout you see after planting now hints at what's coming: a low leafy shoot, a tall spike, or a round bud, depending on the crop, instead of one generic sprout for all 22 crops.
Palmpearl, Wyrmfruit, Ambermango, Mochabean, Nectargem, Duskberry, Rubyfruit, and Emberpod each got their own unique plant shape. They used to share a silhouette with up to 5 other crops.
Tutorial tip messages now wait for you to tap them before disappearing, instead of vanishing on a timer, so there's time to actually read them.
Fixed a tutorial tip disappearing early if you took another action (like planting a second seed) before reading it.
Fixed rapid tapping across several ready crops sometimes silently skipping some of them, so nothing you tap gets missed.
August 19
Brighter, more vibrant colors across the field and menus, in response to feedback that the game looked a little dull.
The field's dirt and grass tiles now have real texture and tile-to-tile variation instead of one flat color.
The Buyout Goal is now 3 escalating stages instead of one finish line. Save up enough and the buyer comes back with a bigger offer, so there's always another target to chase.
Made the shopkeepers easier to tell apart: bigger portraits with a backdrop that makes their faces stand out against the stand awnings.
August 18
Fixed the Continue button incorrectly showing up for a freshly created save slot.
August 17
Added two new faster-paced Upbeat music tracks, plus a Calm/Upbeat vibe selector in the menu.
Added a follow-up patience tip after claiming your first achievement, so it's clear your crop just needs a little time to grow.
Moved the Skip Tutorial button away from the shop stands so it can't be tapped by accident.
The tutorial no longer requires visiting the seed stand before it continues.
Fixed the Daily Reward popup covering up the tutorial's welcome tip on a brand-new farm.
August 16
The menu button now returns you to the main menu instead of closing outright, and you can switch farms without restarting the app.
August 15
NPC requests are now capped to crops the shop actually restocks reasonably often, so a request can't get stuck for hours waiting on a crop the shop almost never sells.
August 12
Background music now rotates between more tracks instead of looping the same one.
Richer, layered sound effects for harvesting, planting, watering, and buying.
Smoothed out early-game slow spots: quest rewards are capped to reasonable rarities, your first request from each NPC is always easy, and you start with one extra seed.
August 11
Added a one-time entrance animation the first time the title screen ever appears.
Fixed accidental menu taps caused by scroll gestures on touchscreens.
